Location: Sergeant Bluff, IA
Setting: School-based environment with travel between schools as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and parent conferences
- Travel to various schools within the district as needed to provide services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children in school settings is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques for pediatric populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively while traveling between schools
